Sónia Rafael
Phd in Design
Assistant Professor in Communication Design at the Faculty of Fine Arts, University of Lisbon (FBAUL), collaborating in Interaction Design with the Lisbon School of Architecture.
Holds a PhD in Communication Design from the Faculty of Fine Arts, University of Lisbon (FBAUL), a Master in Communication, Culture and Information Technologies from ISCTE – University Institute of Lisbon and a Degree in Communication Design from FBAUL.
She is a researcher at ITI — Interactive Technologies Institute / LARSyS, and a collaborator researcher at CIEBA (Fine Arts Research Studies Center) and CIAUD (Research Centre for Architecture, Urbanism and Design).
She was a fellow of the FCT (Foundation for Science and Technology) and co-supervised the IST Scope, Senior CapstOne Project, an educational innovation project at Instituto Superior Técnico (IST), as well as research projects in Communication Design, Interaction Design, UX / UI and New Media.
