Projetos – Design and co-creation in the enhancement of the territory

The research aims to explore how the tools and techniques of co-creation may contribute to the enhancement of the Beira Baixa sub-region’s identity. In this way, its goals are to grasp the importance of collaborative design methodologies, and to identify methods, practices and results pertinent to the investigation, particularly in the area of Design for the territory. Simultaneously, it analyses how design practices may identify, through collaborative creation methods, attributes that are exclusively local, and produce strategies for the promotion of cultural and socioeconomic development of the region.
